From First to Second page

How it can be?

In 3 weeks this site and another blog of me dropped from first place to second page for  Shopautodotca Seocontest. Is there any BH that play very dirty? I think there is. The top 10 become in one night the Top 20, how it can be?

I learn about people in the Shopautodotca Seocontest, I saw alot of websites and alot of techniques but this is somthing else…

    I can’t understand this either! I for sure thought you were in the top 3 at the end of the contest. The SERPs are going crazy and now sites that were not doing well are doing very very well. I know that there is a lot of spam going on, but I don’t see why your site should drop like this… ?

    In any case, I am glad that you came into the contest. Really, until you entered the shopautodotca seocontest, things were not that friendly at all. People in the contest just said bad things about me and my site (like I did not do SEO, only blogged) which was not true.

    Maybe we will meet again in another seocontest! And take care in all your SEO endeavours in the future. I can tell you are very good at this because you rose so quickly in the SERPs and stayed there until things went strange with Google.

    Hi Danielle,

    thanks for your comment, I’m sure that it’s not change in the google ranking principles. I know from V7N seo contest (2-3 years ago) that one site was attacked and dropped in the SERP so it’s possible that someone influence the ranking.
    BTW, the first one in google (Gary) was the one that attacked in V7N seo contest…

    Hey there, I am sorry to see how the contest ended for you. I really enjoyed participating in this contest with you and maybe we will see each other around on the internet… maybe in another seocontest sometime.

    I put a few links to your site on mine after I wrote that message on June 13, though I am not sure that it helped much but I wanted to try to help if I could.

    Again, good luck with everything (and in your next seocontest too!). I might wait and participate in the world championship one, even though I doubt I would do that well, but it is worth a try right? I did not think I would do well in this contest either.

    I am glad that I can now say I know and SEOguy from Israel. ;-)

    I’m sure there have been networks of BHs ganging up on this contest.
